DMCA Takedown Policy

Cogito Sum, LLC respects the intellectual property rights of creators, rights-holders, and organizations. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices and remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.

Because all content on Infatuated.ai is AI-generated and users cannot upload their own images or videos, copyright claims must clearly explain how the material infringes a protected work.

1. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that any content generated or displayed on Infatuated.ai infringes your copyrighted work, please send a written notice containing each of the following:

Your DMCA notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work

    Provide a clear description or a link to the original work you claim has been infringed.

  2. Identification of the infringing content

    Include specific URLs or screenshots of the content on Infatuated.ai believed to infringe your copyright

  3. Your contact information

    Full legal name, email address, physical address, and telephone number.

  4. A statement of good faith

    “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

  5. A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjur

    “The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner of the copyright or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner.”

  6. A physical or digital signature

    Your full legal name will serve as your electronic signature.

2. Processing of DMCA Notices

Once a valid DMCA notice is received:

  • Infatuated.ai will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • We may notify the user associated with the content (if applicable).
  • We may forward the takedown request—including your contact information—to the affected user.
  • We may request additional information if your notice is incomplete or unclear.

Infatuated.ai reserves the right to reject notices that are incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or that clearly misuse the DMCA process.

3. Submitting a Counter-Notice

If content was removed in error or misidentification, the affected party may submit a DMCA counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the removed material and its prior location
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error
  3. Consent to U.S. federal court jurisdiction
  4. Full contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  5. A physical or digital signature

If a valid counter-notice is received, the content may be restored within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files legal action.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

Cogito Sum, LLC will terminate user accounts that repeatedly violate copyright law or abuse the DMCA process. Because Infatuated.ai does not allow uploads, violations are rare but still handled seriously.

5. Misuse of the DMCA

Knowingly filing false DMCA notices or counter-notices is a violation of federal law and may result in:

  • Account termination
  • Civil penalties
  • Attorney fees
  • Reporting to relevant authorities

6. Policy Updates

Infatuated.ai may update this DMCA Policy at any time to comply with new regulations or platform requirements. All changes become effective upon posting.
